About Kam Green

Kam Green is the founder of several groundbreaking initiatives:

Kam is also an author, a neuroscience enthusiast, a White Riley Peterson Policy Fellow, and a Master Trainer for the American Red Cross.

Kam’s Vision for Family-Centered SEL

Kam’s approach to Social-Emotional Learning emphasizes the importance of family-centered SEL. She believes SEL must extend beyond the classroom to include the families and communities that shape a child’s development.

“SEL is a foundational skill in well-being and a critical cornerstone in every child’s success,” Kam says. “When caregivers practice SEL, they model emotional resilience and pass those skills down to future generations, creating a positive cycle.”

This holistic approach ensures that children, caregivers, and communities are equipped with the tools to build emotional intelligence, strengthen relationships, and foster culturally responsive learning environments.
