Current Initiatives
Bright Promises Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit supporting initiatives that are results-driven, sustainable, and demonstrably improve the lives of children. We work with individuals, foundations, agencies, community leaders, parents, caregivers, and experts to develop and deliver programs strategically designed to provide disadvantaged children with the foundation for a brighter future.
Healing Racial Trauma
The Healing, Leading, Changing initiative addresses childhood trauma caused by racism and promotes healing among BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) children and youth.
Early Childhood education
Our Early Childhood Education Quality Improvement Program (EQUIP) improves and promotes children's overall well-being by encouraging the healthy physical, mental, social, and emotional development of low-income children ages 0-5.
Social justice & youth engagement
The F.A.I.R. Fund (Iris Krieg Fund for Fairness, Access, Inclusion, and Resiliency) develops young leaders by supporting youth-led programs that promote equity and fight discrimination.
Building relationships and listening to the needs and aspirations of young people is crucial. By creating opportunities for young people, we can empower them to reach their full potential, breaking cycles of poverty and inequality.
