Board Spotlight: Savvy Leaders of Young Professionals Board

The Young Professionals’ Board (YPB) serves as ambassadors for Bright Promises Foundation in order to provide significant support through fundraising activities, volunteerism, and advocacy for the Bright Promises mission.

The new YPB leadership team is enthusiastic about increasing the impact of the Young Professionals’ Board, which has already hosted multiple events in 2016 including a fun and casual mixer at FatPour in Bucktown and a volunteer event at the Children’s Home + Aid Rice Center in Evanston.

Upcoming events include a community yoga class, professional networking event, and the annual holiday silly hat party. If you are interested in becoming involved in the Young Professionals Board, please email info@brightpromises.org.

**Amanda Farag (President)** is an Indiana University graduate who recently celebrated her 6 year work anniversary at the Solo Cup Company. As an avid traveler, she is passionate about serving under privileged children through international mission trips. Amanda also enjoys long distance running and is a certified yoga instructor.

‍**Toni L. Cappella (Vice President)** is a Michigan State graduate that is currently working for Avery Dennison as a Senior Global Demand Planning Analyst. Year round she is dedicated to Crossfit, plays soccer with Women’s Soccer Chicago and in the summer enjoys stand up paddle boarding on Lake Michigan.

‍**Meagan Norris (Treasurer)** has a MBA from the University of Utah and a BA in Psychology. She is a clinical trials manager for AbbVie, a Chicago based pharmaceutical company. She is passionate about soccer, global travel, backpacking and skiing.
